Dialog text (text driven by OBJ_WRITER) does not render properly.

The intro sequence does not progress past this screen, and nothing appears to be drawn. However, the game can be started.

Dialog text also does not appear.

Flowey's initial encounter does not progress past this point:

Bypassing that, the Ruins dialog boxes reveal a symptom of the issue: dialog boxes appear to render in black Wingdings (font 0).
