Support for Waveshare 7.5 bwr Display

Is there any hidden option to use an Seeed EN04 or EE04 together with a Waveshare 7.5 BWR Display?

in ESP Home i was able to use this display with "model: 7.50in-bV3-bwr" and "board: esp32dev"

in opendisplay i was able to flash the firmware .... but after that the display refreshes, there is a sign of a qr code visible but some distortion ...

I might be to stupid but how do I do that?
I connected my board via Bluetooth, hit the "auto install to device" button. But nothing on the display happens.
Am I holding it wrong?
