What problem would this solve?
When listening to music or podcasts, loading the full video stream wastes data unnecessarily. Also, while background playback on mobile already advances to the next video in a playlist, it won't actually load and start playing the next video until you open the app again. Audio-only mode could potentially solve this since there's no video stream to load, so it could just keep going to the next track seamlessly in the background.
What would you like to see?
An audio-only playback mode that skips loading the video stream to save data, with a toggle button on the player to switch between audio-only and normal video playback on the fly. This mode should also support seamless auto-advancing to the next video in a playlist while in the background on mobile, without needing to open the app for each track to load.
