LTI 1.3 setup

*Okay, so we are not having any luck when we have a student in the Blackbaud class launch the Learning tool. They get this error: {"detail":"Method Not Allowed"}

I'm attaching two screenshots of our setup in Blackbaud for 1.3 Learning tools integration area.

I also tried switching out the Launch URL to https://runestone.academy/runestone/lti?custom_course_id=SCDS_Compsci_2026-2027
Because I read "By passing the SCDS_Compsci_2026-2027 parameter via the secure URL query string, you circumvent Blackbaud's limited widget layout. Runestone will instantly recognize your course and provision the student accounts smoothly." That didn't work either. I'm at a loss. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide

Please check in with the folks on our Discord #lti_community_support channel. There you will find many people who have been through the process of setting up LTI, and they are a very helpful group.

I don't have any experience administering Blackboard, so I'm not much help here.

I assume that you have consulted https://guide.runestone.academy although I don't know if we have much help for blackboard, I recall D2L, Moodle, and Canvas having been conquered.

Correct, there is nothing about Blackbaud. It is not Blackboard, It is Blackbaud. I'll see what I can find out. Thanks

Sorry, I've never heard of blackbaud, I thought it was a typo or bad autocorrect. You are in more uncharted territory than I thought. Now I'm going to be thinking about 2400 baud modems all day.
