I am walking through the process of creating an account as a student and enrolling in a course, so that I can give clear instructions to my students.
Before, students enrolled for a course on the same page as creating an account for the first time, but now it's on the next page. That's fine, especially because you show a list of courses at the institution which seems helpful. However, here's what I see when I've entered "Franciscan University of Steubenville" for my institution:
That is probably not super helpful to students. One of those, the 4th one, is a course I've created for the fall. The first 3 are at least recent courses I've created, since last November or so. The rest are clearly not my institution. Is there a way to adjust the filter?
It appears you're using course start date for part of the ordering algorithm, and I think that's good. When I fixed my course start date to be 8/24, it appeared first on the list. (I had previously set the start to be 12/24/26 so that when I imported assignments, they'd all be due in the future.)
