Runestone Issue: LTI 1.1 jumping between different books

Describe the bug
I know LTI 1.1 is supposed to get deprecated but we are still using it until our university approves LTI 1.3.

I've also included a video below. We had canvas connecting to some assignments previously, but now when I try them they go to the summer book(virginiatech_py4eint_summer26) instead of the fall book(virginiatech_py4eint_fall26) and these assignments aren't in summer.
Two examples of this are:

1. Peer Instruction Practice https://runestone.academy/assignment/instructor/builder/276763, using LTI link https://runestone.academy/runestone/lti?assignment_id=276763
2. W2_D1 (fine tuning) https://runestone.academy/assignment/instructor/builder/276764, using LTI link https://runestone.academy/runestone/lti?assignment_id=276764

We trust the LMS to send us to the correct assignment. If you have the course id wrong, or if you are playing around between two courses where you are authorized then we just trust what LTI tells us.

I'm seeing error messages in the log for LTI 1.1 launch events where someone in course py4eint_fall26 is trying to launch an assignment for spring26.
