Hey Maaren (@SSoggyTacoMan) — great timing on this. We recently logged a similar request (#916) for Gemini OAuth and they're closely related: the core ask is letting users authenticate with Google's OAuth flow instead of having to manage an API key manually. Combining your use case (Google AI Pro without CLI friction) with that thread. We'll track this together. Added to the backlog — OAuth-based auth for Gemini is a solid UX improvement for onboarding.
