vscode recent update problem

I am suddenly no longer able to use vent python on my remote ssh host. It always uses python from /usr/local/bin
Any one can help please?

I assume you mean venv? This sounds like a general Python problem which we don't technically support, but if you can post what error you are seeing in your terminal we can try to help. Otherwise your best option is probably posting on Stack Overlow, Discover, or the python-help mailing list.

@brettcannon : Thank you for your reply.
Its not because of python venv because i can run venv python from console without problem.
The problem is because of recent updates of Jupyter extension. I switch back to the version of 2021.3.xx then everything works.

@brettcannon : the new versions of jupyter extension introduce "Jupyter Interpreter" option that in fact does not help.

The Jupyter extension is actually a separate extension; see https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-jupyter for filing an issue there.

Thank @brettcannon . I did not know the first time its was because of Jupyter extension.
