Jupyter Notebook saving

How can I save a notebook in VScode without saving the cell outputs? This is to avoid large unnecessary changes when using git on notebooks.

Ideally, we can clear the cell outputs before saving the notebook. I am not aware if there is any command or shortcut for this.
