CLI installation - How do I disable Jupyter, Pylance install

I'm using code --install-extension ms-python.python to install the plugin programmatically. I just realised I had a ton of extensions automatically installed, all from Microsoft.

I don't care about Jupyter at all. I've tried looking for a way to disable the auto install but haven't found it. Is there any flag that I can pass to prevent this automatic installation or should I just stop using your extension?

There's nothing you can do from the CLI to prevent the installation of the Jupyter extension, but we are working on dropping that dependency.

Okay thanks for the answer. Not optimal to not give the choice to avoid optional dependencies, but that's already something.
