How to prevent New instance is being open when Python Environment Manager icon is being clicked

Hello! I would like to check it out about the instance running of the extension.
I just find out that in a Window, whenever I click the Python Environment Manager, it will run a instance to the global.
By default, it use the default Python version.

Usually, I will open a few project windows to work with and there will be multiple instance of Python running in the memory even I accidentally click on the icon, it will still run one instance without notice.
Is this the default and desired behaviour?
Because didn't notice it so will not aware to quit that.

How to prevent to load or how to unload rather than force quit in undesired situation?
Because running multiple instance of python in the background might consume more battery power in notebook.

Can you provide a screen shot of the button?

The button on the left hand side.
When click the button, the Python will be loaded immediately.
If there is 2 tab opened in that Workspace, then 2 python instance will be opened.
By default, it run the system Python version.
In my case, it is MacOS 14.4.1 Sonoma M1 Max
I am using Conda to manage the enviroment so it is also on the list.

I have tried removing the system config in ~/library/application support/ and restart to test it alone to isolate the effect of unaware settings done. But still, it demonstrate the same characteristic as described.
I am using both VSCode and VSCodium. The button is captured in VSCodium while it remains the same in VSCode.
