thank you, I need this conda environment, but I don't need the activate script. I think this is only needed for the initial setup of the environment. Afterwards, I don't need to run this script, right? I just need to activate the environment because running this script will pop up a terminal window, which I'm not used to.

@w-y-z The best way to work with conda environments is to run vscode from an activated environment. Here is now you can do this.

1. Open a terminal outside of VS Code
2. Navigate to your project.
3. Activate the environment you need
4. Run code . this will run VS Code itself from an activated environment

With this you don't have to re-activate or do anything, and the run or debug will also work without running activation.
