This AZIP standardizes the fungible token. It's based on https://github.com/defi-wonderland/aztec-standards but divergent nonetheless, mainly regarding commitments. This standard anticipates offline-constructible commitments.
This standard, along with code-reusability (see https://forum.aztec.network/t/aztec-inheritance/8576/4 ), enables the proliferation of composable ecosystem applications the same way ERC20 did in Ethereum.
It requires no protocol-level changes.
