Some major problems I have noticed on CodeTorch is that the entire website except the editor is not friendly on older computers due to the modern design in terms of performance. This causes the website to load slower sometimes for the old computers.
What I am proposing is a option for the user to activate/deactivate the modern web design, and choose what they want to see in the home page (like choosing an option to show/hide what the community is doing) to reduce webpage loading times. The non-modern web design should contain a simple web interface, with not much cpu-intensive design.
Please note: This is a bug for older computers, and I am proposing a feature to fix this. Newer computers will not have this problem (it could happen though), and so this bug doesn't affect much people.
I might work on this as my first contribution to Codetorch when possible.
