  • resident wake replies stream: checklist cards ride the reply, a plan box alone never posts

…box alone never posts

Live defect 2026-07-20: the resident wake never wired ReplyStream (built and
tested since the streaming work, orphaned by the Collapse), so the checklist
tool always fell back to a standalone emoji message — a bare card-only plan
box posted and notified as her whole reply while she worked, violating the
reply-stream contract ('checklist cards alone must never create a message').

The wake now opens one ReplyStream on its home thread: checklist calls buffer
as native task cards until her first words materialize the message, replies
addressed elsewhere stay plain posts, a wake that only plans posts nothing,
and close settles pending cards (Slack renders a pending card on a stopped
stream as an error). No recipient / no streaming support falls back to the
plain post path unchanged.

…s, silence recurs forever

The Collapse removed the distiller, so nothing curated an over-budget core:
3 items truncated from the eng soul on every wake, logged as a hygiene
defect nobody in the loop could see. The dropped count now rides into the
'What you know' section with a nudge to merge/retire with her own memory
tools — the harness still never edits her memory.
