I support data-intensive infrastructure for high-energy physics research in collaboration with CERN and the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. I work across the stack - from deploying compute, storage, and network infrastructure in our data centers to developing and deploying the software that runs on that infrastructure.
My focus is on building reliable, scalable, and reproducible systems for scientific computing with an emphasis on Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and distributed systems design.
A major focus of my current work is treating repositories as the single source of operational truth, enabling deep integration of AI-assisted development and operations workflows.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of projects I use regularly:
Kubernetes · Flux CD · Helm · Ansible · Kustomize · Kubespray · Foreman · Puppet · Ceph · Rook · Cilium · Calico · MetalLB · Envoy Gateway · cert-manager · NGINX · Keycloak · OIDC · Prometheus · Grafana · JupyterHub · BinderHub · Dask · HTCondor · PanDA WMS · Rucio · CVMFS · Linux · AlmaLinux · QEMU · KVM · libvirt · containerd · Apptainer · Docker
