Dynamic Thresholding Extension Basic Usage Tips

What does the extension do?

Compensates for high CFG scales to make them work better, via Scale Mimicking and Dynamic Percentile Clamping/Thresholding.

How do I use it? Basics.

• Set your CFG Scale as high as you want (eg, 30, 50, ...).
• Check Enable Dynamic Thresholding
• Set Mimic Scale to a normal safe scale (eg 7, 10, ...).
• Generate!

How do I use it? Advanced.

• Start with the same as the basics, then open the Advanced menu
• Set Threshold Percentile to 100% for high CFGs, or ~95% for middle CFGs.
• Set schedulers to Half Cosine Up (the best scheduler mode for most usages).
• Set scheduler minimums to around 3 or 4.
• Generate, enjoy.
• Experiment with other modes if you want.
• Can use the infinite grid generator to make grids to compare settings.
