Looks good! I have suggested a few changes to make entry for new users even simpler. Please have a look at my recent commits. I planned to provide them on a separate PR, but I accidently pushed to this branch. Feel free to adapt.
I did not manage to read the developer docs. Looks good to merge. Will review separately.
